I'm a thirty something housewife. I love to cook and love learning about health and nutrition. I have had multiple blogs in the past and decided to make a site that is dedicated strictly to food. I have a blog all about sourdough but have had to back off since gluten is still a bit of a problem for myself and others in my family. I will say that I did best on Spelt and if I ever add a gluten containing grain back into my diet, Spelt would be the only one I use. There are many benefits to sourdough bread that I fully believe in and have witnessed first hand. Therefore I have a section for sourdough goods and information.

Since my family, myself, and countless others are avoiding gluten due to sensitivity or for other health reasons, I want to convert as many traditional recipes to gluten-free and grain-free as I can. I hope it will be a helpful resource for anyone with allergies or sensitivities. If you have a recipe that you would like me to convert to gluten-free or grain-free please submit your request using my contact form at the bottom of the website. I make no guarantees that I will convert all recipes submitted but I will do my best.

I know what it is like to not be able to eat at restaurants with friends and family due to numerous allergies. It's frustrating for everyone involved not just the person with the allergy. I will be doing reviews on restaurants I visit and let you know not only how the food, service, and atmosphere are but also how accommodating they are to those with allergies and if they have gluten-free options.
